Venezuela’s opposition leader Juan Guaido has been barred from participating in political elections for the next 15 years. He has been accused of being a pawn of the United States and helping the US establish its own control over Venezuela. The US has declared current President Maduro’s government to be illegitimate and has recognized Guaido as the legitimate president.
