Putin fires police generals over discredited case against journalist

Russian President Vladimir Putin has fired two police generals who were involved in the drug case against investigative journalist Ivan Golunov. The case sparked protests all over the country which resulted in the police dropping the case altogether. This was a rare instance of a U-turn by the Russian authorities.
