Plane crash kills at least 23 in eastern Congo

GOMA: Rescue workers pulled 23 bodies from the rubble after a plane crashed into a densely populated neighborhood in the city of Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo shortly after take-off on Sunday. The aircraft, operated by local company Busy Bee, was en route to the city of Beni, about 250 km (155 miles) to the north, North Kivu Governor Carly Nzanzu Kasivita’s office said in a statement.
