Pakistan eyes $22 billion aid package

On Monday, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that it will send a mission to Pakistan to finalize a bailout program after constructive discussions during the IMF-World Bank (WB) Spring Meetings in Washington DC. The news comes as Finance Minister Asad Umar hopes to secure $22 billion packages from three multilateral agencies in the next 3 years.
