A departmental proceeding has been initiated to keep a watchful eye on Dolphin Force official Ehtisham, the brother of alleged terrorist Zeeshan Javed, after the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) declared him a “suspect”,  and recommended proceedings to include him in the Fourth Schedule.It been decided to depute him on an ‘unarmed duty’ on the premises of the headquarters as a protective measure  
Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif has approached the Lahore High Court challenging the federal government’s decision of placing him on Exit Control List (ECL). Sharif pleads that the impugned memorandum of Feb 21 was issued in an arbitrary manner and was issued against the law and facts as no notice or opportunity of hearing has been afforded to him before putting him on the ECL.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved different projects for well being of deserving women, children and elderly citizens. A special project would be started for the welfare of the transgender community. Free education and healthcare, screening, legal and psychological assistance and shelter would be provided.  
National Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Thursday constituted three Sub-Committees to probe the affairs anomalies in development works across the country in Hajj Directorates, Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and Madrissa Education Board. The Committee observed that millions of Rupees were spent on the Madras thus a Sub-Committee has been constituted which shall report to the main Committee in thirty days.    

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi Thursday received a large number of complainants, submitted by the people in personal capacity regarding land fraud, submitted in khuli kachehri (public hearing). Majority of the complaints were against management of cooperative societies, private builders, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Revenue Department.  
India’s top military brass displayed the remains of an American-made missile as ‘absolute proof’ that the Pakistan Air Force used F-16s in aerial operations, bolstering their claims that the Indian Air Force also shot down a PAF F-16 while losing a MiG-21. The Express Tribune revealed that the missile remains could belong to a missile sold by the US to Taiwan.  
An authorised dealer of the Bahria Town had shown in its record the sale of lands which the real estate company did not possess or had surrendered to the Malir Development Authority.The land was granted for an incremental housing scheme but instead the MDA exchanged it with Bahria Town which launched a scheme of its own.  The case will be taken up again on March 6.

The United States, Britain and France have submitted a pro­posal to the United Nat­i­o­ns Security Council, asking it to blacklist Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar, the fourth proposal at the UN over 10 years to list the JeM chief as a global terrorist. If adopted, the proposal will require Pakistan to freeze the funds and other financial assets belonging to Masood Azhar and his org­anisation.
