Oxford’s COVID-19 vaccine works on monkeys, may hit market by September

Scientists at Oxford University in the UK say they are one step closer in developing a vaccine to stop the spread. Last month, promising results were seen after six rhesus macaque monkeys were injected with a single dose of the university?s new vaccine. This means that a new vaccine trial involving more than 6,000 participants will be started by the end of next month in an effort to show the vaccine is safe and effective.
