On Monday, Indian forces clamped down on mosques across occupied Kashmir in anticipation of protests sparking after the Eid ul Azha prayers. Jama Masjid was closed and people could only congregate in smaller mosques. This is the eighth consecutive day of Indian crackdown in the area after the abrogation of Article 370.
