Police in Kazakhstan has arrested dozens of protestors who came out on veteran leader Nursultan Nazarbayev’s birthday, demanding he give up power. Although he has technically resigned from government leadership he has still kept sweeping power for himself and has labeled himself Yelbasy or national leader. Non-government approved public protests are illegal in the country.
