KARACHI: Police on Sunday arrested two people, one of them step father of a girl, who was allegedly tortured and raped in Awami Colony area of the city, ARY NEWS reported. According to police, taking notice of a viral video, they apprehended two suspects from Awami Colony area. “One of them was step father of the victim while the other was his brother,” they said.

LAHORE: The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department said on Sunday that personal protective equipment (PPE) has been provided to five major hospitals in Lahore, ARY News reported. ISLAMABAD: The confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 1,865, according to the National Command and Control Centre. According to the report, there are 652 cases in Punjab, 625 in Sindh, 221 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 153 in Balochistan, 58 in Islamabad, 148 in Gilgit Baltistan and six cases in Azad Kashmir.

HYDERABAD: Minister for Health, Sindh Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho on Saturday announced the demise of another individual after testing positive for coronavirus, ARY News reported. The patient had tested positive for coronavirus on April 3, the provincial tally of coronavirus related deaths now stands at 14. NAB claims that Nawaz ? when he was the Punjab chief minister ? allotted a 54-kanal plot of land in 1986 to MSR.
