British Pakistani wakes up from coma to learn mother died from COVID-19


Photo by author LONDON: A British Pakistani entertainment executive woke up from a monthlong induced coma to find out that his mother had passed away after losing the fight to COVID-19 in the same hospital. Sohail Anjum spent 25 days in a coma at Croydon University Hospital battling a severe form of the deadly virus but while he managed to regain consciousness, almost a month later, he learned that his mother had passed away a few days after he had been admitted to the hospital.
