A Brazilian appeals court judge has ordered the release of mining and oil magnate Eike Batista, revoking a temporary prison order that was going to expire on Monday. He was initially arrested on suspicion of money laundering and insider trading after federal prosecutors identified $203 million in illicit transactions. The arrest was only set up to disrupt Batista’s defense strategy.
